World of Art - case of good practice of the Lifelong Learning Programme supported action!

World of Art, School for Curators and Critics of Contemporary Art, has been selected as a case of good practice of the Lifelong Learning Programme supported action– one of the two from all the supported projects in the years 2010, 2011 and 2012!

The awarded activity was a partnership project World of Art. Models of training and collaboration in contemporary arts, which was focused on vocational training of Curatorial Studies, Art Critical Studies, Museum Studies, and Art Journalism. The project was run by World of Art/SCCA–Ljubljana with a collaboration of ECM (Postgraduate educating, curating and managing studies at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna), University Jagiellonski Krakov (Postgraduate museological curatorial studies) and KURZIV (platform for culture, media and society Zagreb).

The grantor of award is CMEPIUS, Centre of the Republic of Slovenia for Mobility and European Educational and Training Programmes. CMEPIUS works as the national information center for the Lifelong Learining Programme.

The award is a sign of an important recognition for our school, and we are pleased to receive it in a very time of its complex restructuring and a recent release of the World of Art Anthology entitled Dilemmas of Curatorial Practices.
