Vesna Bukovec, SCCA-Ljubljana's webmaster is participating with her video When I wake up, I am going to create something beautiful (2011) at international group exhibition Video Festival Natures 12.

Video works presented at the Festival Natures are based on images of nature, or else include images of nature in some of their sequences, or are derived from things found in nature. The Video Festival Natures is marked by people and their natures.

Participal artists from Bolivia, Chile, Czecho, Canada, Holland, Italy, Poland and Slovenia: Uršula Berlot, Vesna Bukovec, Víctor Ballesteros, Jessica Gnyp, Ruben van Klaveren, Davorin Marc, Amir Muratović, Rok Oblak, Izabela Ołdak, Nejc Saje, Jeffrey Young, GRUPPO SINESTETICO: Matteo Albertin / Antonio Sassu / Gianluca Scordo, Ejti Štih.

Projections will be present in all 3 Halls in Bežigrad Gallery 2 from Tuesday 14 to Friday 17 from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 18 from 10 am to 2 pm.

Vesna Bukovec (1977) graduated and completed her MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. She works independently and in the art group KOLEKTIVA (with Metka Zupanič and Lada Cerar). Her artistic work finds its expression in a variety of media (video, photography, drawing, installation) and approaches (research, appropriation, participation, etc.). She present her work in numerous international exhibitions, she recieved several grants and was twice OHO Award finalist (2009 and 2012).
