Artists: Ana Nuša Dragan, Zemira Alajbegović, Ema Kugler
Curators: Barbara Borčić, Peter Cerovšek
Production: SCCA-Ljubljana 2021
A long time has passed since SCCA-Ljubljana presented poster projects around the city. Just from the exhibition project Urbanaria. Art in the Urban Context in the mid-1990s. As part of the international project Not Yet Written Stories. Women Artists’ Archives Online (2019–2022) we returned to the streets and squares in the center of Ljubljana. In numerous TAM–TAM poster sites, we could meet images of three women artists with their statements: Ana Nuša Dragan, Zemira Alajbegović, and Ema Kugler. The poster action is a complementary and constitutive part of the exhibition 3 + 3 = 6 Three artists, three artistic practices, six decades – Part Two in the SCCA Project Room.
The exhibition 3 + 3 = 6 is part of the project Not Yet Written Stories is managed by the Arton Foundation in Warsaw, and in addition to the SCCA-Ljubljana, the Zagreb Office for Photography and the Riga Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art are involved. Each partner organization will focus the research on female artists who have often been overlooked in the history of contemporary art.
